December 10-12 Weekend

What a weekend!!  We did 6 incredible events this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 10, 11 and 12.  We really enjoy going that extra mile, above and beyond what the clients expect.  We worked with some fantastic people this weekend.  Below are pictures we took at 3 of our events, which we are extremely proud of, so enjoy!

Lenox Financial Corporate Party at the Irvine Hyatt

We did a corporate event for Lenox Financial at the Irvine Hyatt.  I had the pleasure of working with Monica, who had the room set up early and worked with us in designing the room layout and made sure we had everything we needed to achieve our goal.  We provided the DJ, lighting, snowflake patterns on the airwall and silver chiavari chairs with black cushions.  We also encouraged our client to go with red silk linens, which we provided, as well as silver chargers.  We also decided to work overtime and provide the menu cards and centerpieces with LEDs inside and floating candles, which we designed.  The last added touch was the customized candy apples, which were provided by Apple Revolution.  We love working with Ana.  We look forward to working with Lenox Financial next year.

Bradley’s Bar Mitzvah at the Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel

We had the pleasure of performing at Bradley’s Bar Mitzvah at the Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel on Saturday, December 11.  We worked with Erica, who was extremely accommodating and made sure that all the details of the evening were taken care of.  We came up with the idea of putting a shattered glass gobo pattern on the airwall, which looked sharp, and then we put two custom gobos – one on the dance floor and one on the opposite wall with pieces of shattered glass incorporated into Bradley’s name.  It looked really cool!  We also did the LED uplights around the room, which allowed the room to be transformed into multiple colors throughout the evening.  An added touch was when we did the 10′ x 10′ spandex screen attached to two 10 foot truss for the video presentation, which was shown by rear projection, which is a much cleaner look.  The final touch was our silver chiavari chairs with black cushions, which gave it a really hip style.  I entertained the younger adults by playing games during the cocktail hour and had high energy dance music throughout the evening.  Bradley is a fun, energetic kid.  We had a blast working with him and his family.

Casino Night Corporate Event – Massage Envy Mission Viejo North and South at the Irvine Hilton

After doing 4 spectacular events on Friday and Saturday, one of our two events on Sunday, December 12, was a casino night and what a blast that was!  A very hip, young crowd who all work at Massage Envy Mission Viejo North and South.  Eric, the owner, mentioned to me that he wanted a casino night with the atmosphere of a night club, so we wanted to create a very trendy, hip feel to put people in the mood for dancing and casino gambling all night long.  We decided to put two pattern gobos on the airwall, which consisted of dice and the Ace of Spades.  Then we wanted to really dim the lights but still allow the players to see the tables, so we pinspotted each of the casino tables.  Our DJ Bobby took care of the rest of the night with dancing all the way until midnight.  It’s always a pleasure working the Elberta at the Irvine Hilton, who is always accommodating and easy to work with.  Can’t wait for those free massages.  We need them after this weekend!
